People ask me a lot about Movile’s culture. I really believe it’s a fundamental part of our success story the we our people think, live, act and fight. Luciana, our Head of People wrote a great article about it.

One of my top duties as Head of HR is to ensure that we are hiring the best people in the world. We want a team of people who believe in more than coming to work and playing their roles, people who want to transform and impact the lives of others.

Choosing your ideal workplace and path is very important, so if you have the dream of working with us at Movile think about these three questions I’d like to share with you about what we look for in new “Movilianos” (as we call ourselves).

Do you share our values?

High-energy people who know when and how they are at their most productive are a good fit for us. Whether you’re up at the crack of dawn furiously writing down ideas or are at your peak in mid-afternoon, being aware of when you’re most productive ensures you’re bringing your best self to your work.
 3. Do you have a global mindset?

Someone with a global mindset understands that great ideas don’t stop at borders, whether they’re internal or external.

It’s important to us that our employees are curious about other cultures. Curiosity and open-mindedness are must-haves when working in an international company, such as Movile.

We also look for people who are non-judgmental and possess a strong self-awareness . We want people who can monitor their own strengths and weaknesses in a non-biased way.

Additionally, candidates who can deal with situations that may not have immediate clarity are useful to us. The ability to take ambiguity and complexity in stride are hallmarks of a global mindset.

These are the reasons why I’m still working here

The most important feeling that I felt when I was writing this article is that when you have passion, ownership and bright eyes you can build something as big as you can imagine. More than choosing a place to work, you need to choose which dream you’d like to pursue. In two years and a half working here I reached a lot of dreams as a professional, themes I’ll share in later articles.
